Ayurveda Treatment

Are you suffering from psoriasis? If yes, then this blog will be very helpful to you. Here we have covered the most effective Ayurveda Treatment for Psoriasis to permanently cure psoriasis.
But wait, Most Frequently asked question is –

What is Psoriasis?

"Psoriasis is an immune-mediated disease which causes raised, red, scaly patches to appear on the skin."
In this disease, skin cells proliferate. The typical symptom is itching and scratching. This condition leads to skin rashes, scaly patches, and other changes in the skin.
Psoriasis is an auto-immune disorder, in simple words our own immune system functioning against us. Many science theory tells it as incurable but yes Ayurveda treatment has answer to it.

Psoriasis Causes:

However, Research says that it is related to our immune system problem with T cells and other white blood cells called neutrophils in our body. T cells usually protects our body against infection and disease by attacking bacteria & viruses.
However, when you have Psoriasis, these T cells attack healthy skin cells instead. These travel into the skin, leading redness and swelling. The rapid production of skin cells process becomes an ongoing cycle in which new skin cells move to the outermost layer of skin rapidly. The skin cells build up in thick, scaly patches.
Experts believe that Psoriasis is primarily a disorder of excessive growth and reproduction of skin cells. The problem is simply seen as the fault of the epidermis and its keratinocytes.
Apart from genetics and environmental reasons, the following factors can also increase your risk of developing psoriasis disease:
  • Family history: This is one of the most crucial factors. If one parent is affected, chances for the child to suffer from Psoriasis is 15%. If both parents are concerned, then the possibility of a child to bear is 60%.
  • Viral and bacterial infections People affected by HIV are easily to get Psoriasis than people with healthy immune systems. Children and young peoples with recurring infections, particularly strep throat and other skin infection, also may be at increased risk.
  • Injury: Injury to the skin such as cut or scrapes a bug bite or severe sunburn, skin bruises, skin infection, some skin irritant.
  • Stress: Because stress can impact your immune system, high-stress levels may increase your risk of Psoriasis.
  • Certain Medications: - including lithium, which is generally prescribed for bipolar disorder, high blood pressure medications such as beta-blockers, antimalarial drugs, and iodides
  • Vitamin D Deficiency
  • Obesity: Excess weight leads to the risk of getting Psoriasis. Lesions (plaques) associated with different types of Psoriasis often develop on skin creases and folds.
  • Tobacco Smoking: Smoking of tobacco not only increases the chances of Psoriasis but also may increase the other disease. Smoking also played a role in the initial development of many diseases.
  • Heavy Alcohol Consumption
  • Consumption of opposite foods (Raw Onions & milk together)

These changes include discoloring under the nail plate, pitting of the nails, lines going across the nails, thickening of the skin under the nail, and the loosening and crumbling of the nail.
  • Erythrodermic Psoriasis: The least common type psoriasis involves the widespread inflammation and exfoliation of the skin over most of the body's surface. It may become with massive skin itching, swelling problem, and sometimes pain.
It is often the result of an exacerbation of unstable plaque psoriasis, particularly following the abrupt withdrawal of systemic treatment. This form of psoriasis can be fatal, as the extreme inflammation and exfoliation disrupt the body's ability to regulate temperature and for the skin to perform barrier functions.
